Hardin County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot verify custody, release a person, post bond, retrieve an official report, or make a records decision. Direct those requests to the public agency that holds the record.

Official Hardin Record Routing

Start with the question being asked. A current custody check, a booking record, a police report, and a court outcome are held through different Hardin County channels. The contacts below identify the documented official routes, including the regional arrangement in which Hardin detainees may be held in Marion.

Multi County Correctional Center
1514 Victory Road
Marion, OH 43302
Main line: (740) 387-7434
For an incarceration check, call and press #2. MCCC says it cannot provide court-date or court-time information.

For an HCSO record request, provide the incident type, date, one involved or reporting party, and a report number if available. HCSO recommends calling ahead and says records are typically unavailable until three to five business days after an incident is reported. Its published page does not state a booking-photo fee, so ask about any current duplication, media, postage, or delivery charge. The court’s copy fees are separate and should not be treated as the sheriff’s fee schedule.

  • For present Hardin-area custody, use the MCCC phone check together with the official HCSO inmate roster.
  • For a police report, booking record, or requested booking photograph held by HCSO, use the HCSO records-request route and make the request specific.
  • For a city-held arrest report, ask the arresting police department for its public-records custodian, fee, and response estimate. Kenton and Forest city web paths were not reliably available during research.
  • For a court outcome or hearing information, use the Hardin County Clerk and Municipal Court searches, which each warn of online posting delays.
  • For a sentenced Ohio prisoner, use the official ODRC Offender Search, not the county jail roster.
  • For a federal custody question, use the BOP Inmate Locator. For an immigration-custody question, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator.
